The chase is on !

1. Montag was being attacked by the hound because it has orders to catch and kill montag.

2. Montag defended himself from the hound by throwing a flamethrower at the hound so it would burn down.

3. Montag realized that Beatty wanted to die to him no doing anything when he was burning he also didn't try to stop montag.

4. Montag really depends on Faber because he ran 6 blocks to tell him what had happened and to get advice from him.

5. When montag was crossing the street he checked if there was any cars coming, there wasn't but he could hear a car from the distance coming closer and closer. He kept hearing it coming closer montag stumbled and fell but the car later swerved and it was gone.
